International Environmental Guardianship
IEG Global Statutes
ENG (US)Preamble
Prevalence of Life
Life, in all its manifestations, precedes and transcends any human ordinance. It is the origin, foundation, and horizon of all existence. Consequently, its care, defense, and continuity constitute a superior, non-negotiable, and prevalent mandate over any normative, economic, or political interest.
Centrality of Mother Earth
Mother Earth is not a commodity or an object: she is a living being, a subject of rights, the matrix of existence, and the primary authority. Every collective decision, every form of organization, and every exercise of government must arise from the recognition of her word, her cycles, and her balances. Legitimate governance does not exist if it is not woven in correspondence with the rhythms of nature and the spirituality of the territory.
Ancestrality at the Service of Humanity
The ancestral sciences of Indigenous Peoples, alive in the long memory of time and in the respectful relationship with Mother Earth, constitute a living source of guidance for humanity. They are not a vestige of the past, but current paths of collective solution, capable of contributing to global balance from reciprocity in the care of life.
